Each of Synappsers’ apps is first tested through a Private Beta, with a limited number of power users. These early birds are macOS aficionados who can put even an alpha-quality software to good test and send accurate technical or functional feedback.

Development

All apps are compiled as universal binaries to run natively on both Apple silicon and Intel-based Mac computers. I develop primarily for macOS and some of my server applications are also meant to be deployed on Unix systems.

Methodology

Testing, testing and more testing! Early on, I adopted a unit-testing coverage methodology with a unique obsession: avoiding regression bugs. Once a bug has been signalled and corrected, a unit test is added in order to avoid hitting it again in any future release.

Programming

As many full-stack developers I program in several languages. For the needs of Synappser, Swift and Objective-C are privileged. When systems/server programming is required a combination of C/Lua (LuaJIT) has served me very well thus far.
